About us!
My name is Hermanus Haryanto, I live in Jakarta, capital city from Republic of Indonesia. I love animals since I was a kid also fish. My first fishes came from my uncle, he gave me platy, mollies, guppies and betta fighter. I remember that moment I was 6 years old boy, my mom help me take care of all I kept.
I start bred all i have when I was 10 years old, fish, cat, dog, birds.
August 2001, I start again my childhood hobby for betta, but this time only fancy betta. My first betta I got from Henry Yin, Crown tail and Halfmoon betta, try to breed them and after that try to enter to the competition, not bad my first experience have a placing and continue to take a part for overseas show and also have good result until now I still take a part for Swiss Betta Club show.
In the year 2004, I tried to kept wild betta, my first wild betta was betta patoti, unlucky I didn't know how to keep the wild and they were gone few month, then I got betta chanoides and betta macrostoma on 2005 but also same condition all gone.
In the year 2007, I got my Brunei type Macrostoma at Aquarama Singapore, then follow another type wild betta species eg. Albimarginata, Chanoides, Ocellata, Patoti, Ideii, Unimaculata, Uberis and some more type.
2008 is first time I can breed the wild betta, specially Macrostoma.
